I’ve received several forward recently with job opportunities around the Cleveland area and want to share the wealth:
Cleveland Housing Network: Getting ready to kick off the Connect Your Community Program. In the process of hiring 3 supervisors, and then 15 additional workers to start on August 1. They will be trained and then out in the community providing training and helping residents of Cleveland and East Cleveland set up broadband in their homes. Note: I didn’t see anything posted on their website under “Employment” but it does say: Qualified candidates should forward a resume along with salary requirements to Cleveland Housing Network, Attn: Human Resources 2999 Payne Avenue, Suite #306 Cleveland, Ohio 44114 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org fax: 216.685.1659.
Absorbent Materials Company: develops reactive glass products and nanosands for remediation or site-cleanups of volatile organic and related spills, plumes or gas discharge. Several positions open around the country, including in Wooster, Ohio and a Northeast regional sales representative.
Foster Care Transitional Shelter: There is going to be a shelter for young adults transitioning out of foster care in the former convent at SS. Peter & Paul Church in Garfield Hts. The target date for opening the shelter is August 1.
The director of the shelter is looking for 1-2 young adults who would be willing to live at the shelter. The responsibility for those living there would be an evening/overnight presence. Being trustworthy and patient are 2 key criteria for anyone interested. Free accommodations and a $500.00 per month stipend are included as part of the arrangement.
Anyone who might be interested should contact Bryan Kessler, Director of the Shelter, at email@example.com.
