Are your students and tutors so comfortable with their paper GED books, you can’t get them on the computer?
McGraw Hill offers FREE online supplements for their Contemporary’s GED satellite series that matches the book chapter by chapter.
Each book has a website with a Student Center and an Instructor Center:
GEDScience.com
GEDMath.com
GEDReading.com
GEDSocialStudies.com
GEDWriting.com
After you assign a book & chapter, go online to access the supplements in the Student Center:
Practice Tests
Chapter Overview, Outline, & Review Test
Interactive Flashcards
GED Practice Quiz
Web Links
The Instructor Center also offers:
More web links
Correlations to the GED practice tests
Teaching tips
Some subjects (like Writing) even offer Powerpoints for group instruction and Photocopy masters!

BEWARE you can NOT take a GED test on the internet or mail you must go through ur school district community center or community collage i have seen ads saying so and want you all who read this to know that they are FALSE
felicia, Thanks for sharing that warning. I agree there are many scams out there taking people’s money for what they claim is a high school equivalency diploma.
However, McGraw Hill’s GED websites are a companion to their GED preparation materials. Their books & the website offer “practice” tests to help folks see if they are ready to pass the official GED and if not, what they should study to prepare. Definitely not a scam but a valuable community service!
I WOULD LIKE TO STUDY FOR MY GED
Daisy, Fantsatic! You can find a local GED class near you at the National Literacy Directory. At Amazon.com, you can buy the textbook that goes along with the online sites on this page: Comtemporary’s GED Complete If you need extra practice or help with math, check out Khan Academy. And don’t forget to ask at your local public library for help, too (just don’t steal or write on the library’s GED books, please!).
